Sami | Omaha, NE Senior Photography

I have a problem.

It's a good problem, I suppose.

When I came to select the photos to feature in this blog post for Sami's recent session, I couldn't make up my mind on which ones to choose. She's such a pretty girl, she made my job super easy!

A few weeks ago, I met Sami for our session at the Durham Museum and around downtown Omaha. Such a sweetheart! Plus, she came to the session armed with several lip gloss/lip stick choices - one prepared girl :)

And with such a sweet smile...get out of town girl!

Here's my absolute fav from our session. I love me some sun flare!

After shooting in the museum, we moseyed around downtown Omaha a little. Sami's sweet mother was concerned before the session started that it was going to be too hot. Thankfully, we started in the air conditioning, because this photog was sweating her buns off midway through the session. But Sami? Cool as a cucumber, that girl was.

We finished at their family's farm; I never get tired of shooting in a pretty pasture at sundown. Sami pointed out this location where a cluster of trees had a lot of dead branches. Fabulous! My mind is constantly churning during our shoot so I love when my Seniors pipe up with ideas of their own.

I have to say it...
Rawrrr!

Pretty. Vibrant. Sweet.

Sami, you're the perfect BigStar Senior!

Sadey | Class of 2012 Recap

When the Facebook message came in from her FFA advisor at Laramie High, I couldn't have been more relieved. Got your email. I have a girl who would be perfect for the job. Motivated, smart, personable and interested in photography. With the 2011 Wyoming FFA Convention just around the corner, I had put a call out to area FFA advisors in search of an intern to help me through the week's events.

And that's how I met Sadey.

After the Convention wrapped up we stayed in touch; I loved hearing about her journey into photography. So it's safe to say that I was ecstatic when she asked me to be her senior photographer. A kinder-hearted, sweeter, harder working girl than Sadey would be tough to find. On top of it all, she's a total cutie and made my job behind the lens soooo easy.

She's just such a darling! I cannot get over her eyes - so pretty!

Always with a quick smile, even at my lame jokes. Reason #4,235 that she's one of my favs!
